Fiqh of Tahara and Salah
Allah the Almighty says in the Quran:
“O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” (Surah Bakarah)
Ibn Umar (RA) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“The place of prayer (salah) in religion is like the place of the head in the body.” Tabranni
As Americans, our identity as Muslims is one of the most valuable things. Connecting ourselves and strengthening our bond with Allah will help us retain our Muslim identity. The best way to build our relationship with our creator is established through our Salah.
“But what if I’m doing it wrong?” We will focus on the “Dos and Don’ts” of Salah. Learning how to pray by going through Salah step by step, making our prayers more meaningful.
This course will teach the important role of purity in our faith and its connection with Salah. You will learn the absolute essentials of purification and Salah
“The Prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers.” (33:6)
This course will trace the life history of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from the days before the advent of Islam; known as the time of ignorance. The course follows his birth and upbringing through to his receiving of Prophethood, the spread of Islam in Makkah. We will be looking into the life of the people around the Prophet SAW; his family, his companions and his enemies.
The focus will be to connect ourselves to the Prophet SAW through learning about the events that took place in his life and then making those events relevant and extracting lessons from there.
The life of the Prophet SAW is both inspirational and motivating and is yet full of lessons and anecdotes that continue to unravel themselves to us to this day. Studying the life of the Prophet SAW is an absolute must for everyone.
This class covers the essentials when it comes to our beliefs and faith. Students will learn about what we as Muslims believe and why. Helping them strengthen their faith as young Muslims.
