Imran Baig – Candidate for ‘Member’ ICF Shura

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,

With the grace and blessings of Allah subh, we have seen our Frisco community and masjid grow in front of our very eyes through your contributions and support, and through the countless hours and effort from current and previous Shura leaders, imams, and volunteers.  Being part of DFW for last 20 years and Frisco community for last 8 years, Insha Allah it is time for myself to play an active role in the next transformation phase of ICF and community.

I am shukur ulhumduilliah an established technology executive who is expert in running complex global operations, managing large sized teams and budgets, and successfully delivering multi-year projects.  My objective as running for shura is to bring same level of vigor, expertise, and discipline towards achieving ICF 2020-21 transformation goals.  I am very dedicated and laser focused towards what I sign up for and work in a very collaborative, analytical, plan driven, team spirit based manner to achieve our mission.  I am part of our community and have a good understanding of what is required to propel us forward.  I have previously served as Sunday school teacher and carry a good understanding of current state and future needs when it comes to ICF school, programs, youth, and community objectives.  My wife Fareha is also actively involved in the community and is part of ICF interfaith. We are blessed to have two boys ages 10 and 15, and play active role with their academic, sports, outdoor, and digital activities.

I am fully committed towards development of our ICF youth, continuous uplift of interfaith, Sunday school, and social programs, and will ensure evolving 21st century needs are taken into account for shaping our programs, services, and outreach towards everyonewe have privilege to serve and engage with Insha Allah.

Your Brother in Islam,

Imran Baig
