Arif Faizan

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

My name is Arif Faizan, and Alhamdulillah, I have been serving the Dallas Muslim community since 2009. Professionally, I have over 20 years of experience as an analyst in the healthcare solutions industry. I live in Frisco with my wife, Sadia, and our two children.

My passion for volunteering comes from a desire to serve our community and help keep our masjid running efficiently and transparently. Since January 2020, I have had the honor of serving on the shura as General Secretary, supporting key initiatives and strengthening operations. During this time, I was also part of the shura when the multi-purpose hall expansion took place, an important milestone in accommodating our community’s growth and enhancing our shared space.

In the short term, my goal is to ensure our growing community has the resources and space to worship comfortably and deepen their spiritual connection. I envision ICF as a welcoming space where our community can worship peacefully, seek beneficial knowledge, and grow closer to Allah together.

My long-term vision is to help make ICF a self-sustaining masjid that generates enough income to cover expenses while empowering the community through education and engagement. My work managing Sunday School finances and serving on the Finance and Capital Projects Committees has given me valuable insight into achieving this goal.
