The Islamic Center of Frisco (ICF) is a vibrant and diverse hub serving thousands of families in North Texas. With weekly lectures, Qur’an programs, youth activities, interfaith gatherings, and major community events, ICF is dedicated to excellence in faith, service, and engagement.
Position Overview
As a Barista at Sukun Coffee, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages with care and consistency while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will play an essential role in ensuring that guests experience the warmth, service, and excellence that define Sukun Coffee.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Environment
- Provide friendly, attentive, and respectful service to all guests.
- Embody the values of ihsan by ensuring every interaction is kind, professional, and sincere.
- Help foster a warm, welcoming environment where people feel comfortable spending time.
Drink Preparation
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages from the Sukun Coffee menu with accuracy and consistency.
- Follow recipes and quality standards to ensure every drink meets Sukun's expectations of excellence.
Operations & Maintenance
- Prepare and set up the coffee cart before opening hours.
- Restock and replenish ingredients, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart and surrounding area throughout the shift.
- Monitor inventory levels, track usage, and report shortages or maintenance needs promptly.
Quality & Brand Integrity
- Maintain Sukun’s high standards for taste, presentation, and service.
- Uphold hygiene and safety regulations at all times.
- Represent Sukun Coffee and the Islamic Center of Frisco with professionalism and sincerity.
Qualifications
- Prior barista or customer service experience preferred (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-player mindset.
- Passion for serving others and creating uplifting community experiences.
