We aim to provide high-quality programs for all age groups. One of our most valued services is our Qur’anic education program for children, taught by qualified professionals with ijazah.
About ICF Qur’an Academy
The mission of the Qur’an Academy is to preserve the Qur’an in the hearts of future generations while empowering students to build, strengthen, and maintain a lifelong relationship with the Qur’an through proven teaching methods and practices.
Due to increasing demand, ICF is expanding its Qur’an programs and seeking additional:
- Male Full-Time Hifdh instructors
- Male Part-Time Hifdh/Nazirah instructors
- Female Part-Time Qaida instructors
Job Description & Responsibilities
Teaching Responsibilities
- Teach, mentor, and guide students in Qur’an recitation.
- Ensure proper Tajweed and accurate recitation.
- Conduct student evaluations and provide progress updates to the Director/Principal.
- Serve as a positive Islamic role model.
- Follow ICF Qur’an Academy’s teaching methodology.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Director/Principal.
Teaching Schedules
- Full-Time Boys: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Part-Time Hifdh Boys: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Part-Time Qaida Girls: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Substitute Teachers
Substitutes will be contacted as needed to cover classes and are expected to maintain the same standards of Tajweed accuracy, discipline, and teaching quality as regular instructors.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Full-Time Hifdh instructors must have 2+ years of Hifdh teaching experience in the U.S.
- Must have memorized the Qur’an and be able to listen to Hifdh lessons without looking.
- Excellent Tajweed is mandatory for all instructors.
- Ability to work with children of different ages and assess their progress.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Strong understanding of Islamic etiquette and conduct.
- High patience and a caring attitude toward children.
- Preference given to candidates with Ijazah.
- Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with children.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.
