Experience
Chairperson, ICF Technical Services Committee (Tech/IT Team) | January 2022–Present
● Lead a team of volunteers and staff in managing and supporting ICF’s technical assets, including A/V systems, networking, security, servers, donation systems, and more.
● Direct infrastructure planning for low voltage, security, and A/V as part of the ICF building expansion project (2023–2025), coordinating with vendors and implementing value engineering that saved ICF over $200,000.
● Secured $150,000 through the federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program to fund facility security upgrades and emergency response technology.

Educational Programs at ICF
● ICF Sunday School admin team (2020–2024).
● ICF Summer Camp administration (2022–2024).
● The Muraqaba School technology team (2024–present).

● Involved with various on-campus programs, extracurriculars, and research activities.


Vision for ICF

Long-term sustainability model
● Shift the Board’s focus towards governance, vision, and policy, while empowering our staff and volunteers to manage the day-to-day work of their committees with increased autonomy.
● Improved communication with an open culture between the Board and staff, volunteers, and other key stakeholders, especially prior to high-impact decisions.

Expanded outreach and engagement
● Actively reach out to new and untapped Muslim families across the extended Frisco area, especially young professionals and those who moved here in the last 5 years.
● Welcome families who may not feel as connected to a masjid environment by making ICF approachable and offering community programs that resonate with their needs.

Improving the quality and reach of our programs
● Supporting our committees by encouraging collaboration across different initiatives
● Collecting feedback to ensure events are relevant, high-quality, and appealing to both current members and new attendees.
● Focusing on improved promotion strategies that are in line with the latest marketing and social media standards, while improving the brand recognition of our organization.
● The goal is to increase engagement while raising the overall standard of our programming.

Strengthening safety and security
● Enhance emergency preparedness, standardize security policies and audits, and build strong partnerships with local agencies.
● Establish a dedicated Safety and Security committee that works closely with operations and other core committees/programs, facilitating a safe environment for our community, staff, and students.
