Part-Time Technical Assistant (Contract Basis)

The Islamic Center of Frisco (ICF) is hiring a proactive Part-Time Technical Assistant to support the seamless operation of our technical infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with technical experience or the ability to quickly learn new systems, particularly for evening and weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot audio/video systems, including live streaming and digital signage.
• Provide on-site tech support for prayers, events, and programs (e.g., Taraweeh, Eid, workshops).
• Resolve network, IT, and connectivity issues to ensure reliable operations.
• Manage live streaming platforms and video systems (e.g., Blackmagic, Epiphan).
• Monitor facility systems (HVAC, security, displays) and report issues.
• Update website and digital content as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with audio/video systems or a strong willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of IT, networks, and streaming platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility to work evenings/weekends.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with live streaming, video editing, or masjid technical operations.
• Familiarity with tools like Blackmagic Design, SDI, and NDI protocols.

Working Hours:

Part-time (20-24 hours/week), primarily evenings and weekends, with additional hours during events.
