GENERAL BODY MEETING ON FRIDAY, JUNE 13TH TO VOTE ON CONSTITUTION AMENDMENTS

Pursuant to the requirements of the Islamic Center of Frisco (ICF) Constitution, which mandates a comprehensive review every five (5) years, the Shura (Board of Directors) established a Constitution Committee earlier this year. The last constitutional review was completed in 2019.

The Constitution Committee was composed of the following members:

• Khaled Mobhasirin (Chair)
• Rafia Aleem
• Khalid Zaatreh
• Muddassir Hassan
• Nauman Shafi
• Mohammed Tanveer
• Azfar Saeed (Shura Liaison)

Over a period of approximately two and a half (2.5) months, the Committee conducted a thorough examination of the Constitution, reviewing each article and section to ensure that the document reflects the current and future needs of our community.

NOTICE OF GENERAL BODY (MAJLIS) MEETING

Date: Friday, June 13, 2025
Time: Immediately following the Maghrib prayer
Location: Islamic Center of Frisco

Important Information for Members:

• Only individuals registered as members with the Islamic Center of Frisco by May 31st, 2025 shall be permitted entry into the main hall and shall be eligible to participate in the voting process.
• A quorum, as defined in Article 10.8 of the ICF Constitution, requires the presence of twenty percent (20%) of registered members for the General Body (Majlis) meeting to proceed and for any amendments to be approved by a majority vote.
• All voting members must present a valid government-issued photo identification at check-in to verify membership status.
