In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of Robotics by building and programming a Robot using LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Kit provided to them. Battle Botz: Students will learn basic robot programming skills such as making a robot move forward, backward, and take turns. They will also learn how to use attachments and sensors for identifying, picking up and knocking down objects. Students will use these skills to build and program a robot for a friendly Battle Botz competition at the end. This class provides the foundation for students to enroll in next level classes in the Youth Robotics series.
