A Sunday School program which is to provide an Islamic environment for Muslim children to grow, learn Islamic history, values, and develop life-long friendships with their Muslim peers.
Islamic Center of Frisco's Sunday School (ICFSS) students have a high awareness of their Muslim-American identity along with a strong knowledge of Islamic principles, the Quran, and Sunnah. They honor the teachings of Islam and the Prophet’s Sunnah (pbuh) through strong family ties, involvement in the community, and respect for all members of the Muslim Ummah and society, as a whole. I just wanted to send a note first of all stating what an incredible first year my daughter has had so far at ICF Sunday School. It is her first
year in 4th grade and we have been so impressed by the level of organization, teaching, nurturing environment, curriculum and activities
for our children. She has been calling it "her masjid" and feeling a true sense of belonging, which is truly beautiful to hear.
She is learning so much and really enjoying the interaction with other children and ICF Sunday school staff. I also really think the course
materials and book provide a fundamental basis of islamic principals taught with just the appropriate level of detail for her age range. The
understands the concepts and recalls them very well. I am really glad that so much thought was put into selecting the appropriate staff and
teaching materials for our kids.
